S.O.A.P. Panel Scents #7 & #8

These smelled similar OOB and in soap. #7 was sweet, fruit smelling. #8 was a citrus and earthy 'pumpkin' smell. The earthy wet gourd smell did dissipate when they were soaped. I really couldn't figure out what fruit sweet smell #7 was. I don't think I have a nose for fruit (or perhaps any smell...) since I found those hardest to distinguish from each other.
I used these at 7%. I didn't notice any significant scent throw from either of these. Both were similar in color and viscosity. I forgot to take a picture of them next to each other, but they looked very similar.

Fruit inspired colors. Gold Sparkle Mica and Coral Mica from Bramble Berry. Coral is listed as a morphing mica on their website, it gets a little different from the pink- more orange/red. Nothing crazy though.

Pumpkin inspired colors (haha). Green Rainbow Mica and Orange Red Mica both from Nurture Soap Supplies.

It should be noted that while most micas are water soluble, not all are. This coral mica is not! This didn't impact the soap at all since I was able to shake the squeeze bottle to incorporate. Can you believe it, I actually wrote a review on this mica on Bramble Berry's site a few months ago mentioning this doesn't mix with water. Wow. Brain=broken.

Arranged and ready to go. I poured off a couple ounces of un-fragranced soap for the colors like last time. The mica's are mixed with water (as they have been for the previous batches).

I fragranced and poured each base. Both are typical colors. (These uncolored bases will be used to compare the level of discoloring each fragrance imparts). I think I jinxed myself last time by saying I hadn't encountered a ricer or speedy fragrance in the bunch yet! #8, rice rice baby. Luckily it was at a thin trace so I could stick blend it smooth before pouring.

And here they are poured! The red orange looks similar to the coral, but it will change to a much lighter orange (at the amount I used). It also is listed as a morphing mica, but it also stays in the same color family.

Stay tuned for the final shots of these cut. I'll be posting them together when all eight fragrances have been soaped!
