Uh hi... I kinda took the summer off it looks like! Whoopsie. I don't know about you all, but my creative juices kind of peter out in summer time. I'd rather spend it outside (or roasting away not moving inside). Soaping, cooking, crocheting etc. just don't seem so appealing when it's hot and sunny out. Plus I don't have air conditioning so oven use is... uncomfortable.
BUT, BUT! It's officially fall! Even though it is still in the mid-upper 80's here still, I've seen some leaves and the night temps are dropping! And I've had all summer to lurk around on Pinterest (80% scoffing, 20% oooing) at food and crafts to do when it gets colder.
Plus, I moved. Which is always a big deal. Now I have a host of new things to do (we have a YARD) in a new place, quite invigorating! Consider me back in the saddle.
