Another year down, another list of things that happened during that year. Spotify is rounding up your own year in its very fun Year of Music. This is offering you cool play lists of new things and all the things you liked this last year. NPR has a few different round ups, their favorite music of this year, and the top 100 albums of 2014 polled by users.
I submit to you for your listening enjoyment, two playlists:
One contains the two most popular songs from 96 out of the 100 Albums picked by NPR users. Yup, 192 songs from this year -of all genres- to blast your face off with. Why only 96? Four artists didn't have their album available on Spotify. I also added these in order from #1 down to #100.
The second playlist is my very own top 100 tunes of 2014. Unlike the NPR playlist the songs aren't solely from this last year, but just the songs I listened to most in 2014; and the genre is much more localized (Indie/Shimmer/Tronica/Pop).
