This book is loaded with fantastic recipes of varying degrees of difficulty. The Bianco Spritz is simple but does involve making a lemon syrup. You could probably fudge it and use equal parts simple and fresh lemon juice. I do highly recommend the syrup because it is like sunshine in a bottle. I didn't use the syrup recipe from the book, instead used this recipe from The Spruce Eats. It's so delicious
I used still white wine, Murphy Goode Sauvignon Blanc, lemon syrup & seltzer water. Garnish with a berry (as I did here), a lemon slice or nothing. Serve over ice and try not to gulp it!
