Weekend Funsies

I do have some crafty-soap-food posts marinating right now. But none are finished! So how about some snaps of the nice long snowy weekend?

Step One: Organize

I love all the 'styled' book shelves I see on Pinterest and blogs. However I can't really swing that with my very functional media book shelf. Plus, I like these books so I don't want to hide or cover them! I saw on this Design Sponge post how a bookshelf (and house) could be colorful and cohesive. So I organized my shelves by color! I think it looks more polished and fun while still being functional.

Minnow's bottle cap jar was full to bursting! Before I pared down her (our) collection I enjoyed some of the neato design and art.

Step Two: Eat

Mmm a warmed up, extra chocolatey brownie (I put a fist full of semi sweet chips in), with Haagen Dazs Dulche de Leche ice cream.

Crispy breakfast potatoes with "Slap Ya Mama" spices.

Step Three: Beautify

After painting my nails, I thought this skull bank needed some glitz too.

Minnow adds instant glamour to anywhere she sits. :)
