S.O.A.P. Panel Scents (First Impression)

First off, I realized that when you don't know what something is supposed to smell like, it's more likely to smell bad than good. If my brain and nose were focused on what I expected to smell (based on the name of the fragrance) I think I would be more likely to smell only that. Without that trusty name hint I smelled lots of stuff. Crazy brain.

#1 Camphor, Carmex, smokey, medicinal.

#2 Sweet, candy. Bubble gum?

#3 Medicinal. Cough syrup. My least favorite.

#4 Confusing... sweet, sour and almost flowery/powdery. Makes me think of purple. Not bad!

#5 Sweet-ish, burned hair top note, cherry or fruit base note. Little earthy perhaps. This was my boyfriend Nate's least favorite.

#6 Lemon or citrus. Somewhat institutional smelling, but that might just be because so many cleaners are strongly lemon scented.

#7 Top note of raw pumpkin, vegetal. Base note of sweeter fruit. Grape?

#8 Raw pumpkin again, lemon, new car. Probably a fresh scent.

I'll give follow up notes on the fragrances as I soap them, and a conclusion at the end!
