Irish Cream

I made Irish cream for Thanksgiving and it was a hit. So it only seemed right to make it for Christmas. This is truly delicious stuff. Very rich and sweet. Perfect for an after dinner dessert-drink or an addition to morning coffee on Christmas. I found the original recipe on Design Sponge. I did change it and halve it, so I am including my take here!

White Russian

As promised, a White Russian. This is a straightforward recipe of three things poured over ice. No special tools needed. I only drink White Russians during the chillier months of the year. Something about cream and coffee doesn’t seem very refreshing and summery to me. But it's perfect for winter and fall!

Coffee Liqueur

Some drinks have a winter “feel” to me. Red wine, dark beers, Scotch, any warm drink or rich drink just sounds right when it’s chilly out. So give me your Grasshoppers, your Hot Toddies, your White Russians! Wait… scratch that last one, we are out of Kahlua.
